Snorkeling
The west coast of Sicily is incredibly rich in marine life, and when snorkeling, our guests are surprised by a variety of fish such as parrot fish, barracuda and huge schools of sardines and mackerel. The Isola Bella marine reserve is one of the top spots for snorkeling in the entire southern Italy. New generation snorkeling gear is always available on board.
Fishing
Rather than big game fishing, we provide a family friendly fishing experience. The Messina straight that passes on the coast of Taormina brings young tuna, mackerel and squids with strong currents.
Dolphin Watching
This activity is one of the most memorable for kids and guests of all ages. Many of us have only ever seen captive dolphins, but we believe the best way to learn about these amazing creatures is observing them in their natural habitat. Some lucky guests have seen even more rare creatures such as pilot whales!

Scuba Diving
Both owner and manager of Futura are certified PADI scuba diver instructors with dozens of years of experience in the local area, as well as first aid providers. The Taormina Coastline and Aeolian Islands are some of the top scuba diving destinations in Italy, rich in corals, tuna, groupers, barracudas, nudibranchs and octopus, and keep an average visibility of 20m during the summer, as well as a temperature of 26-30 degrees celsius. We have dives and experiences for beginners to experienced divers, and sites for all interests such as caves, archaeological sites, canyons, etc.
